Impurity bio

Impurity is a black metal band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The band, which is about to complete 15 years, has released two albums through Cogumelo Records: "The Lamb's Fury" (1993, LP) and "Into the Ritual Chamber" (1996, CD). The band also released "Satanic Metal Kingdom" (CD) through Kill Again Records.

During its 15 years, the band faced many line-up changes. They have now settled a new formation, with determined and dedicated musicians willing to continue Impurity's musical work, preserving the band's qualities and roots. Impurity's main influences are: Blasphemy, Necroxysma, Blood, Beherit, Imperator, Mastomah, and Mayhem (old formation). Recently, the band released its 1991 7" EP demo, "Guests of the Infernal Pit", through the label Nuclear War Now.

Their new album, "Necro Infamists of Tumulus Return", just released through Cogumelo Records, is a true return to the band's obscure roots, which also incorporates all the heaviness the original members have acquired over these long and suffering years. Their maturity is present in each track, all the hate and morbid experiences turned into somber and blasphemous music.
