UK death metal outfit Gorerotted has officially parted ways with drummer Jon Rushforth. The band explains:

"It was a hard decision for us to make and it wasn't a personal issue at all. In the end it came down to time commitments and professionalism. You will still be able to hear Jon's drumming skills through his other bands Infected Disarray, Hades Lab and Detrimentum. We wish him the best of luck with all his bands and Grindethic Records."

Rushforth has been replaced by Nate Gould (Screamin' Daemon). According to the group, "People will be blown away when they hear the new material we've been working on over the last few weeks! Nate is a great guy and an amazing drummer so it's really cool to have him on board."
