Tampa-based death metal legends OBITUARY have issued the following update:

"Things are moving along nicely in the studio and we are really happy with the way the new songs are sounding. We got a lot done over the last couple of weeks and should finish up most of the tracking by tomorrow.

When we get back from Mexico we will start mixing and then when we get back from Austrialia we should finish it up!"
