NAPALM DEATH have teamed up with labelmates THE HAUNTED and HEAVEN SHALL BURN to release a charity single helping to raise money for the victims of Dec. 26th's Southeast Asian Tsunami. For the release, NAPALM DEATH donated the brand new track "The Great And The Good" feat. Jello Biafra on guest vocals from their upcoming album, The Code Is Red' Long Live The Code. THE HAUNTED picked the song "Smut King" from the Digipak pressing of their acclaimed album rEVOLVEr and HEAVEN SHALL BURN added "Strassenkampf" (originally by Die Skeptiker and feat. guitarist Patrick Schleitzer on vocals), this is the exclusive bonus track from the Korean pressing of Antigone. Jello Biafra and all bands wrote liner notes with their reflections on the tragedy.

To collect as much money as possible for the tsunami victims NAPALM DEATH, THE HAUNTED, HEAVEN SHALL BURN and Century Media decided to offer the single to fans directly. It is strictly limited to 1,000 hand-numbered copies and were sold at only two European shows in January. Missing the shows isn't as bad as you think, 100 copies are currently available domestically via the Century Media U.S. Webshop. Number 1-10 will be signed by all three bands and auctioned on Ebay, look for an announcement about this later. All proceeds of the single will be collected and donated to the Red Cross after the single is sold out.
