Organizers of the Gates Of Metal festival have issued the following:

"As you have noticed we risk getting prosecuted for breaking the swedish animal by-product regulation, this is because of MAYHEM's show at Gates Of Metal.

We did not know that this law existed and that is why we did not apply for the right permits for handling of animal by-products.

Of course we have great respect for the law and we will wait for the investigations decision.

We choose to respect Mayhem's artistic freedom and we concentrated on guaranteeing the audience security, during other shows with the band people in the audience has suffered injuries.
