The Esoteric has officially announced the departure of guitarist Corey White, who left the group for "personal reasons" late last year. Meanwhile, the band has also parted ways with drummer Marshall Kilpatric, who relocated to Los Angeles last fall "To further pursue his personal musical journey." Commenting further, the group states: "Our partings are mutual and amicable and we wish our friends nothing but the best of luck in their future endeavors."

Kilpatric has been replaced by former bandmate Adam Mitchell. According to The Esoteric, "Adam is both a prodigious musician and collaborator as well as an accomplished performer who helped the band forge a unique place in underground music during his time with The Esoteric on his contributions to the benchmark A Reason To Breathe album as well as a vast majority of the band's pioneering back catalog."
