Norwegian metal troupe Vreid return with another collection of belligerent growls, blast beat drums, tremolo guitar riffs, and general discontent with their latest endeavor I KRIEG. Laced with a black metal malaise while brandishing a slight folk metal nuance, this unit spawned from the band Windir summon a treacherous and ballistic minimalist metal attack whose foreboding snarl remains constant across the nine-track collection. If more than half the albums you own contain undecipherable band logos, Vreid's dastardly musical discharge is right up your dark and ominous alley.
