Ringworm has been around for a good amount of time now and having made a
fine name for themselves in the world of hardcore while their styles not so
much focuses around simply hardcore as they show plenty of metal and death
metal influence in there own aggressive type. "Justice Replaced By Revenge"
is a more than ample title for any given Ringworm album and you know just
what to expect.
This is a band who was pumping out heavy aggressive tunes without the more
conventional ways of HC and have become well off in their own blending of
death metal elements with their rageful, ferocious hardcore breakdowns that
will always find its way back to the hoody wearing masses. I'm sure that now
people are throwing metalcore on this band but they've been accomplish such
a blend for long enough now to be aside from such a label that has now
become a household name it seems.
This new effort contains all that you love about Ringworm, all of their sour
attitude played in the form of some of the better written, simple but
potently heavy material that they are known for. The band continues to mend
their many influences to create more of the same from past catalogs with
formulas still very useful, hence what Ringworm is and what they've always
been without fail.
"Justice Replaced By Revenge" is a given for any fan, newcomers will find it
right up their alley if you enjoy anything from As I Lay Dying, to
Hatebreed, to Cro Mags.
